Growing up in a family embedded in Singapore’s art scene, Gladys is the daughter of one of South-East Asia most respectable art collectors. For her, weekends were spent visiting local art galleries and holidays were spent with her family travelling the world to auctions and art fairs. Spending nearly two decades in the art world developed her critical eye for art as a spectator and often outspoken about her native country’s stringent laws on public media. Being an independent and private admirer of the arts, it has allowed her to be an impartial commentator to the events and changes seen in the South-East Asian art market.
Gladys is a Media and Communications graduate from the University of Leeds.
