Leisha Chi is a Singapore-based broadcast journalist with BBC News, specialising in business news.
Over the last five years, she has been deployed to cover some of the world’s biggest news stories, including the aftermath of Philippines Typhoon Haiyan, the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 and the Bangkok shrine bombing. Leisha regularly interviews newsmakers ranging from government officials to Fortune 500 CEOs.
She received her degree in Comparative Literature and African Studies from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
