Head of Corporate Responsibility, Asia, Deutsche Bank
Deutsche Bank’s involvement in education, enterprise and communities helps to improve the prospects of millions of people around the year. As the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility for Asia at Deutsche Bank, Annie drives and implements the Bank’s CSR mission to be a socially-minded enabler, a reliable partner, and a catalyst for change. She is tasked with the strategic planning and development of the bank’s CSR footprint in Asia, managing the Bank’s corporate giving framework in 15 countries in Asia.
Based in Singapore, Annie works closely with her regional colleagues as well as with not for profit partners from public and private sectors to provide young people access to opportunities and to work with pioneering enterprises to impact positive change in society. She is recognized for her ability to identify social gaps and to customize solutions to deliver sustainable outcomes that adhere to strict governance standards. She is a strong advocate for employee engagement and is highly supportive of her colleagues’ efforts to volunteer in causes that they care about.
In addition to her CSR remit, Annie oversees art and culture activities in the region. Deutsche Bank has an extensive collection of artworks and she has worked closely with the Bank’s art curators to present art exhibitions in the region since 2002.
Prior to working in Deutsche Bank, Annie has worked with multinational corporations such as Caterpillar, W R Grace and Bankers Trust. During the tenure of her employment, she spent five years working in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and New York. She is a graduate from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor in Communications Management.
