Figurative Fine Artist & Co-Founder, The International Arts and Culture Group (TIAC).
Scott Breton is a figurative Fine Artist, using a range of traditional drawing, painting and sculpting media as well as digital alternatives and tools.
After completing a science degree, Scott committed to pursuing fine art, continuing a Classically leaning arts education begun much earlier. A deep interest in the fundamentals of plastic representation and expression, led to various teaching roles and Arts businesses, including being a cofounder of The International Arts and Culture Group (TIAC).
In his artwork, Scott has grown more interested in how the traditional plastic means of expression can interface with developing technology such as VR and 3D printing. These technical aspects relate to an interest in the role of technology in the evolving human experience. Our technology, and rapidly evolving global society, offer challenges and possibilities that are strange and new, and Scott believes these can offer ways to throw the timeless issues of the human condition into sharp relief for the sculptor or painter.
